CARE DISTRIBUTORS are major suppliers of Automotive refinish paints, Abrasives ,Adhesives, Tapes, and Consumable products as well as distributing a complete range of Equipment and Tools to the crash repair and body building industries throughout metropolitan South Australia and country regions including Alice Springs, Broken Hill and Mildura. We also service clients as far west as Ceduna and as far south as Mount Gambier.

GA’s initial company strategy in 1999 was based on targeting the Automotive Refinish sector of the repair industry with Akzo Nobel products. GA’s focus was to grow what would be effectively the core part our business, selling wet paint products in the industry sector.

With this in mind we required to initially establish ourselves within the industry as a reputable business to deal with, by selling quality products, providing superior service and technical support to our valued customers. Within two years of our incorporation we had developed and managed a core group of valued customers which effectively were the foundation of our growth over the coming years.

Berlex Industrial was established by director and founder Paul Reoch, who began his career as a labourer at Kearley’s Auto Service in 1977, learning his trade as a panel beater and spray painter.

After 12 years in the job, Paul ventured into business as a sole trader, selling air tools, sandpaper and other consumables for the auto body repair industry in Brisbane. In 1991, Paul joined the Penrith-based Berlex team as their Queensland representative, selling promotional products to car dealerships.

In 1995, Paul bought the Queensland division of the company and grew it from a one-man band to a staff of eight within a few short years. Berlex Industrial was founded in 2014 to diversify the business while tapping into Paul’s extensive experience in the paint and panel industry. Berlex Industrial is headed by Paul’s son John, who has inherited Paul’s passion for all things automotive.
